Ingredients

1 jar (24oz) Rao’s Homemade Caramelized Onion Sauce

1 lb (16oz) Rao’s Homemade Penne pasta

1 lb ground beef
- Salt and pepper
- Italian seasoning
- Red pepper flakes

1/2 white or yellow onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil

5 garlic cloves, minced
- Parmesan cheese, to taste
- Mozzarella cheese, to taste
- Parsley, for garnish
Directions
In a large pan over medium high heat, add 2 Tbsp olive oil and beef.
Once beef is browned, add onions, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Sauté until fragrant.
Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Then add Rao’s Homemade Caramelized Onion sauce and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Fill a large pot with water and boil Rao’s Homemade Penne until al dente.
Add pasta to the pan with beef and Rao’s Homemade Caramelized Onion Sauce and mix.
Add pasta & meat sauce to a high rimmed casserole dish. Then add a layer of Parmesan and mozzarella cheese on top.
Bake for 25 minutes, until cheese is melted.
Top with parsley and enjoy!
