NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING SWEEPSTAKES. BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES YOU AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES, WHICH ARE A CONTRACT, SO READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING. WITHOUT LIMITATION, THIS CONTRACT INCLUDES INDEMNITIES TO THE SPONSOR FROM YOU AND A LIMITATION OF YOUR RIGHTS AND REMEDIES.

Sponsor: The Saucery Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored and administered by Rao’s Homemade, located at [441 Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair, NJ 07042] (the “Sponsor”).
Description of Promotion. This Sweepstakes requires you to register on the raos.com website, in order to win. Please see the Rao’s privacy policy, located at https://www.raos.com/pages/privacy-policy
Eligibility for the Sweepstakes: This Sweepstakes is open only to those who (i) are legal residents of the United States (excluding NY, RI and FL) (ii) are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry, and (iii) have the ability to travel to Chicago for an event of Sponsor (“Entrants”). Employees of Sponsor, its parent company Sovos Brands Intermediate, Inc, its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and members of their immediate family (e.g., spouses, parents, domestic partners, children, siblings) and/or household members are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. Employees of Sponsor and its affiliates, Sweepstakes supervisors and members of their immediate families, are not eligible to participate or win. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. Void where prohibited. Participant's computer may have to accept cookies or any similar device used by the Sponsor to track entries. See these rules for how information collected from you will be used. Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes begins on June 1, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (“ET”), and ends on June 3, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. ET (the “Sweepstakes Period”). At the end of the Sweepstakes Period, Sponsor will conduct one (1) drawing as outlined below (“Drawing”). Only one entry per natural person per I Sweepstakes Period, regardless of platform used.
MANDATORY THIRD PARTY PLATFORM DISCLOSURE. The Sweepstakes is offered on the Rao’s website. To the extent Entrants see information or advertising on any third party social media site, which site provides a link to the Sweepstakes, the Sweepstakes is not endorsed, sponsored, or affiliated with any platforms, whether social media, game, or gaming platform (“third party platforms”). The third party platforms wherein the Sweepstakes is advertised, and which may be linked to the Sweepstakes have their own terms and use and their own privacy policies, and in some cases, you must agree to, in order to participate in the Sweepstakes. In the event you create an account, on these Social Media sites you are providing your information to these third party platforms and agreeing to their terms and conditions, for which Sponsor has no control. When you participate in the Sweepstakes, the information you provide specific to the Sweepstakes will be used by Sponsor in accordance with these Official Rules.
How to Enter: To enter the Sweepstakes, access sponsor’s website at https://www.raos.com/pages/saucery. You will be directed to provide your first and last name, your email address, and your zip code, and will have to agree that you are able to travel on June 8, 2023, June 9, 2023, or June 10, 2023, from an airport nearest your home. In addition to other promotional communications which you may opt out of receiving pursuant to federal CAN-SPAM compliance, you will receive administrative email communications pertaining to your entry, which may include a confirmation email at the address provided. You may enter one time during any Sweepstakes Period, regardless of your number of email addresses. If you enter more than one time, under an alias or otherwise, you may be disqualified from receiving any prize.
Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Winner Selection and Notification of Selected Entrant: Each qualified entry will be entered into a random Drawing to take place at about 11:00 a.m. ET, on or about the day after the Sweepstakes Period ends. One winner (“Selected Entrant”) will be drawn, and that Selected Entrant will be notified using the email address provided during the entry process. Given the quick turnaround time associated with this Sweepstakes, Selected Entrant will have 24 hours to respond to the email communication sent, after which time, Sponsor may, at its discretion, either not award the Prize at all or disqualify the Selected Entrant and choose another at random.
Prize. Trip to Chicago! The Sweepstakes Prize is a trip to Chicago for two (2) with an estimated average prize value of up to $4,600, pending verification and attendance at the Event as defined below. The prize includes two round trip airfare coach tickets to Chicago to attend the grand opening of “The Saucery” (the “Event”) for a maximum value of $1400; a 2-night stay in Chicago at a hotel (based upon double occupancy) for a maximum total value of $1200; food and transportation allowance with a maximum value of $1400, and a $600 voucher to use on-site at The Saucery (“Prize Package”). Maximum Total Value of Prize Package: Four Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($4,600).
Value of Prize. Total Value of Prize for the Period: maximum of $4,600.00. Selected Entrant shall not be entitled to additional funds in the event that the allocated amounts are insufficient. If any portion of the prize remains unclaimed, then that portion of the prize is forfeited in its entirety and cannot be redeemed for cash or other prizes. In the event the Sponsor is unable to award all or a portion of the Prize Package as listed, a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded at Sponsor’s discretion. All or a portion of the prize may be awarded in the form of gift cards, checks, or other legal tender. THIS IS A TAXABLE EVENT, and the Prize Package is considered income for the purpose of tax liability.
Claiming Prize. SELECTED ENTRANT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR TRAVEL AND EVENT ARRANGEMENTS. Pursuant to completion of requisite documents, including a declaration of eligibility, and a liability/publicity release, Selected Entrant will receive a payment by check, wire transfer, or gift card, at Sponsor’s discretion, for $2,600.00 in order to make travel arrangements and purchase tickets (“Travel Arrangements”). Pursuant to proof of Travel Arrangements, which arrangements must be made for dates that encompass the Event, Selected Entrant will receive a second payment of $1,400 to be used for expenses. Upon arrival at The Saucery Event, Selected Entrant will receive a final voucher worth $600 to purchase products and services. Any unclaimed prizes are forfeited and will not be re-awarded.
Prize Restrictions. Selected Entrant is responsible for all arrangements. Entrants acknowledge there are certain inherent dangers in traveling, including property loss, illness, and even death. In the event Selected Entrant chooses to bring a traveling companion (“Companion”), Selected Entrant must provide Sponsor with an email address and name of Companion, who will be required to complete a declaration of eligibility and liability/publicity release. In the event Companion is a minor, Selected Entrant must provide the email address of the parent or guardian who will approve travel for the minor and sign on behalf of the minor child.
Publicity: By participating in the Sweepstakes, any Entrant in the Promotion, irrevocably grants the Sponsor and its respective successors, assigns and licensees, the right to use such Entrant’s name, and/or Entrant’s biographical information in any and all media for any purpose, including without limitation, commercial, advertising and promotional purposes as well as in, on or in connection with the Website or the Sweepstakes or other promotions, and hereby release the Sponsor from any liability with respect thereto, unless prohibited by law.
Privacy. Information submitted by you in connection with the Sweepstakes is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on the Sponsor website. To read the Privacy Policy, click here. All personal information collected by Sponsor will be used for administration of the Sweepstakes. In addition, as a result of entering the Sweepstakes, and independent of the Privacy Policy, Entrants may receive email correspondence from, or on behalf of Sponsor. Sponsor uses reasonable commercial efforts to comply with Federal CAN-SPAM guidelines and to supply information to entities that comply with CAN-SPAM guidelines, and Entrants may subsequently opt-out of receiving further emails by following the opt-out instructions contained in the email.
General Conditions: By participating, and except where prohibited, Entrants agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules. Any portion of the Sweepstakes may be canceled, suspended and/or modified, in whole or in part, if in our opinion any fraud, technical failure or other factor, including COVID issues, which are beyond our control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to clarify or update these terms in the event of a printing or typographical error. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any person who is found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or the Website, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes, or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. You may not enter with multiple identities or use any automated system, bot or other device or artifice to enter or obtain more than the maximum number of qualified entries. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. THIS IS A TAXABLE EVENT, and Selected Entrant will be required to provide a Social Security Number in order to receive a prize. All federal, state or other tax liabilities (including income taxes) arising from this Sweepstakes will be the sole responsibility of the Selected Entrant. Caution: any attempt to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be in violation of criminal and civil laws and will result in disqualification from participation in the Sweepstakes. Should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages (including attorney fees) to the fullest extent of the law, including criminal prosecution, except where prohibited.
Limitations of Liability: If for any reason an entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, the Entrant's sole remedy is another entry in the same Sweepstakes during the Sweepstakes Period or the following Sweepstakes Period. Except where prohibited, Entrants also agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, Parents, Sponsor’s affiliated influencers, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively “Releasees”) from and against any claims, damages, death, accidents, disability, attorneys' fees, and costs of litigation and settlement, as well as any liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from: (i) use, redemption, acceptance, possession, ownership, or misuse of any prize, (ii) participation in any activity, event, or excursion offered in connection with the prize, (iii) use of any facility, service and/or accommodation related to the prize, or (iv) participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity or participation in this Promotion, generally. The Releasees shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete unreadable, inaccurate, garbled or unintelligible entries, communications or affidavits, regardless of the method of transmission; (ii) telephone system, telephone or computer hardware, software or other technical malfunctions, lost connections, disconnections, delays or transmission errors; (iii) data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry or other materials; (iv) any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance, possession or use of a prize, or from participation in the Sweepstakes; or (v) any printing, typographical, administrative or technological errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Releasees are not responsible for delays or cancellations related to a pandemic, including COVID-19, computer malfunctions, network connections, email delivery problems, systems failure or incompatibility, typographical, technical or key-stroke errors, or interruptions in your internet service, and for incomplete, illegible, misdirected, misprinted, late, lost, damaged or stolen notifications. In the event Sponsor is prevented from continuing with the Promotion as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, including but not limited to pandemic, fire, flood, earthquake, pandemic, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of G-d or public enemy, or any federal, state or local government law, order, or regulation, or other cause not reasonably within Sponsor’s control (each a "Force Majeure" event or occurrence), then subject to any governmental approval which may be required, Sponsor shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion. If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the designated end date, Sponsor will (if possible) select the winners from all eligible, non-suspect Submissions received as of the date of the event giving rise to the termination. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
Disputes regarding these Official Rules and/or this Sweepstakes will be governed by the internal laws of California. Decisions of Sponsor are binding and final. No claimant in any dispute involving Sponsor shall be entitled to claim or obtain indirect, punitive, incidental or consequential damages. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any provision in these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
