Ingredients

  • 1 package (16 oz) Rao’s® Fettuccine Pasta
  • 1 jar (15 oz) Rao’s® Homemade Alfredo Sauce
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano, plus more for serving
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh Italian parsley
  • 1 tsp finely grated lemon zest

Directions

  • Bring a large pot of generously salted water to a boil. Cook Rao’s® Fettuccine Pasta according to package directions. During the last minute of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the pasta water. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  • Meanwhile, season the chicken with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken in an even layer and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 4 to 5 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
  • Reduce heat to medium. Pour Rao’s® Homemade Alfredo Sauce into the same skillet and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Add the cooked Rao’s® Fettuccine Pasta and broccoli to the skillet, tossing to coat. Add reserved pasta water a little at a time as needed until the sauce reaches a silky consistency.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and gently toss to combine. Stir in the Parmigiano Reggiano.
  • Remove from heat and finish with lemon zest and fresh parsley.
  • Divide among serving bowls and garnish with additional Parmigiano Reggiano and freshly cracked black pepper before serving.
